How long are we to suffer the rubbish we are being made to watch at Blyth Spartans there is a total lack of quality in the team our good players must be getting fed up. We have a good manager last season Mick Tait sacked one Staylbridge supporter summned it up Saturday "got rid of the wrong manager, far to easy today" that sums it up stu

it must be some pre planned wage structure when you can double a players wages. when non league players are getting those sort of wages it cannot be good for non league football other people try to compete with them and can't result BUST there is no loyalty now just who is paying the most money very sad

dancingpupet Posted 05/07/2010 @ 16:45

i have heard on the grape vine that Harrogate Town are the team paying BIG money to players again this season, remember last season they went bust lost lot players, will the same thing happen this season when the money runs out? Stu

dancingpupet Posted 10/06/2010 @ 18:22

evey time i go onto the Spartans web site it is to say someone has left the club the latest being Richard Pell because we cannot match there wages come on we should be able to compete with Harrogate. What is happening, a good team playing good football at the start of season will bring in the crowds do we want to improve or not Stu

dancingpupet Posted 24/04/2010 @ 19:54

well done brassy golden boot, looking forward to next season big thanks to everyone at the spartans for making my match days enjoyable and fun stu "seat in the stand man" see you all next season

dancingpupet Posted 24/04/2010 @ 19:45

Well done Brassy top scorer same again next season hope we can build on Mick Taits 1st season in charge. may be challenge for playoffs but wage bills for the top of league sides is far greater than most teams can afford and would not like to see teams going bust like this season. looking forward to next season Stu o

why can;t the league use a bit of common and extend the league week or two after all most teams players do have to work is it fair to ask them to play 3 or 4 games a week? stu spartan fan

the standard of refs in this league are very very poor re Stafford match13 feb, over the top tackle broken leg no card, body checked when through no card, cente half booked earlier booked again, no card.this ref mr hart had no control and let stafford get away with kicking ball away most free kicks not back 10 yards 2 footed tackles went unpunished i do hope an assessor was at the match hopfully he will not referee again. please up the standards would like to talk about football not bad referees cheers stu
