Two late goals by Oxford United saw them come from behind to beat York City 2-1 in a dramatic fashion at Kassam Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Richard Brodie's first-half goal seemed to have given the Minstermen the three points until late goals by Matt Green and Mark Creighton gave the home side the win.
Both side's enjoyed some good early opportunities, but it was Martin Foyle's men who took the lead in the 34th minute when Alex Lawless played Brodie through on goal and the hitman beat the keeper after the ball fell kindly to him following his first attempt rebounding off the post.
The York defence impressed throughout the tie as Oxford's attack failed to penetrate the visitors defence until two minutes from time when Matt Green got onto the end of a ball from Luke Foster and managed to lob York stopper Michael Ingham for a late equaliser.
The home fans were then sent into a frenzy when Mark Creighton fired the ball home after a goal-mouth scramble in York's penatly area.
