Omer Riza
Relegation battlers Eastbourne Borough and Histon played to a 2-2 draw at Priory Lane on Saturday afternoon, much to neither club's benefit.
Visiting Histon twice had the lead through Omer Riza and Remy Clerima but the Sports hit back both times through Darren Baker and Gary Elphick.
The draw does little to help either side, who both find themselves still languishing in the bottom two after Altrincham beat Kettering 3-2.
Riza put Histon in front on 39 minutes when he finished past Tommy Forecast after Lanre Oyebanjo put him through. The striker had another chance before half-time but could only shoot wide.
Baker restored parity two minutes after the restart as the home side fought back after stabbing home Joe Welch's parry from Jamie Taylor's shot, but Clerima's header a further two minutes later put the visitors into the lead once again.
But it was to end all square as Elphick slid home Jamie Taylor's cross in the 57th minute. Borough kept pushing for a winner and also had a penalty appeal waved away, while Oyebanjo missed the chance to snatch it for the Stutes late on.
Eastbourne bookings: Jenkins, Weatherstone.
Histon bookings: Livermore, Clerima.
