Wrexham 1-1 Barrow

Wrexham salvaged a point from their home clash with Barrow after a late own goal by visiting defender Mike Pearson.

The home side started better and Nat Knight-Percival was denied in the 19th minute by a superb save from Barrow goalkeeper Alan Martin.

The visitors then took the lead against the run of play when Jason Walker latched onto Marvin Andrews' header before skipping through to finish low into the corner.

But it was to end in disappointment for the Bluebirds. Pearson came on as a substitute in the 86th minute and turned a dangerous cross from Knight-Percival into his own net in the fourth minute of injury time.

Dragons boss Dean Saunders will have breathed a small sigh of relief having come under increasing pressure as he continues to search for a first win of the season.
