Wrexham v Forest Green Rovers

Wrexham could move to within three points of Blue Square Bet Premier leaders Fleetwood Town with a win over mid-table Forest Green Rovers on Saturday.

The Dragons have won their last four matches, without conceding a goal and thrashed Ebbsfleet United 5-0 in their last outing.

They are currently on 86 points and have, crucially, played two less games than the Fishermen.

But Wrexham must now face an inconsistent Rovers side, who in 11th place with 55 points, defeated Luton 3-0 last time out after two losses, to Hayes and Yeading and Grimsby.

Player-manager Andy Morrell must decide whether to start with Chris Westwood, who has been excellent over the past month, or reinstall centre-back Mark Creighton, who returns following a hamstring strain.

Full-back Declan Walker is also on the road to recovery but this game has come too soon for the player.

Creighton told the Daily Post: "The lads have been brilliant and we've still got our sights set firmly on catching Fleetwood.

"I've trained all this week and touch wood everything's okay - I definitely think I'm ready for a comeback."

Rovers boss Dave Hockaday is, meanwhile, hoping to build on his side's midweek win but revealed his apprehension ahead of the tie.

He told BBC Gloucestershire: "These are the games you want to play in - as a player and as a manager.

"You want to pit your wits against them as they could end up being the best team in the league.

"They're a super outfit and have some great players - the atmosphere will be cracking because they have a chance of automatic promotion.

"But if we can play to 80%+ then it's going to take a good team to beat us."

Hockaday must do without Al Bangura but Reece Styche and Chris Todd are both fit to make a first team return.
