Barrow v Forest Green

David Bayliss' Barrow prepare for the visit of Forest Green Rovers to Holker Street on Saturday as they aim to record a third straight league victory.

The Bluebirds will be high on confidence after a 1-0 victory over promotion-chasing Luton Town on Tuesday night, while the Rovers will also be chasing a third successive win after a 3-1 win against Kettering Town.

Looking ahead to Saturday's encounter, Bayliss told the North-West Evening Mail: "We backed up the win over Kettering with another against Luton and now we want to do it again against Forest Green.

"There is no point winning two home games on the spin and then throwing the towel in, thinking you're a great team, on Saturday.

"The lads have set the standard in terms of work-rate in the last two games and we must show that same determination this weekend."

Forest Green Rovers boss Dave Hockaday could be tempted to hand a starting berth to Kieron Forbes, who has recovered from a hamstring injury.

However, James Rowe, Curtis McDonald, Al Bangura and Reece Styche will all miss out through injury.

And Hockaday is expecting a stern test from Barrow, telling the club's official website: "It's going to be incredibly tough at Barrow.

"It's a really tough place to go so we have to be 100 per cent at it. We need to go there right at it."
