James Collins fired a handy brace to take Forest Green Rovers to a convincing victory over struggling Kettering in Tuesday's Blue Square Bet Premier clash.
Collins struck twice before half-time, nodding home Jake Thomson's cross in the second minute before firing in from the edge of the area five minutes before the break.
It could have been worse for Kettering, who remain in the bottom four in the wake of the result, but for James Norwood and Matty Taylor missing decent opportunities.
Kettering Town caretaker manager Ashley Westwood stuck with his starting XI after the interval, but Forest Green continued to have more possession and Yan Klukowski's 77th minute strike from inside the penalty area put the result beyond doubt.
Danny Mills grabbed a consolation for the hosts when he finished from close range in the final minute of normal time.
