Haig Avenue

Southport v Altrincham

Southport are eager to record their second win of the season when Altrincham make the trip to Haig Avenue on Tuesday night.

Robbie Williams wants to see the Sangrounders pick up three points and he told the Southport Visitor: "We've got to be looking to win on Tuesday and if we can do then it has been a cracking start to the season. But these are definitely the sort of teams we need to be beating at home."

Williams is expected to partner Earl Davis in the centre of defence again.

Altrincham, meanwhile, will be looking to bounce back from their 1-0 defeat to Crawley Town. The Robins failed to pose a threat against Steve Evans' men and will want to put on a better display against Southport.

Midfielder Robbie Lawton (back) is set to miss out again along with striker Michael Twiss.
