York v Altrincham

Altrincham and York City do battle at Bootham Crescent on Saturday with both teams still searching for their first win of the season.

Saturday's game begins a tough period for the Robins who face Mansfield Town on Monday, but they will be boosted by the presence of Matty Crowell, with the Welshman returning from a spell in Australia after play for Altrincham last season.

Michael Twiss, Matt Doughty, Robbie Lawton, midfielder Anthony Danylyk Shaun Densmore all missed Tuesday's defeat to Southport , with Danlyk and Densmore the only ones likely to make Saturday's game.

The injuries that are crippling Graham Heathcote's squad are unlikely to ease in the near future, with Doughty (cruciate ligament), Twiss (ankle) and Lawton (bruised ribs) out for the foreseeable future.

City boss Martin Foyle has no new injury worries, with long-term absentee Levi Mackin (knee) the only player ruled out as defender Duane Courtney returns from injury.

Foyle believes that his men have what it takes to end their winning drought.

"They will come for the draw, will drop off deep and we have got to break it down," Foyle told The Press.

"They will come to frustrate us and we have to have that finish.

"The lads are buoyant. They know they have played well and I am the first to be telling them.

"The last three games they have worked hard for me. It (the victory) is going to come. If you play well, it is going to come."

York face high-flying Fleetwood Town on Bank Holiday Monday.
