Lincoln City

Lincoln v Newport

Lincoln City have not won a match since January and will be hoping their game against Newport County at Sincil Bank Stadium on Saturday will kick-start a revival.

Lincoln have lost their last three matches and are one place above the relegation zone, while Newport are only two points ahead of them in 18th but are coming off a 1-1 draw with Cambridge.

The Red Imps have a good overall record against Newport, having won 12 of their 21 encounters, but the last time they played it resulted in a 1-0 win for the Exiles.

Imps goalkeeper Joe Anyon is aware of the disquiet in the stands, saying: "I know talk is cheap, but this is a massive game for us.

"We need a win and the only way we will do that is by showing the right attitude and commitment.

"I know I will be up for this game and I will take it upon myself to make sure the others are too, although I don't think they will need telling if I am honest.

"It's a crucial period in the season and we must channel our focus on getting the results we need."

Lincoln will have new signing Tom Miller in the side, ironically having arrived from Newport this week to face his former club on his debut.

The Exiles will have loan signing Fraser Franks in the side, while skipper Gary Warren will miss out with an ankle injury.

Returning to the side are Sam Foley, Ryan Charles, Lee Minshull and winger David Pipe, who all sat out against Cambridge.
