Luke Jones
Mansfield Town continued their play-off charge with a 4-1 victory over Forest Green Rovers at the New Lawn on Saturday.
A brace from Luke Jones and a goal a piece by Jake Speight and Rob Duffy was enough to give the Stags the three points.
It was the home side who struck first though as Tomi Ameobi headed home from Conal Platt's free-kick at the far post in the 17th minute to make it 1-0 and that is way it stayed until half-time as Rovers went into the interval in the ascendancy.
Jones put the visitors back on level terms just after the hour-mark when he rose to head Ryan Williams' cross into the back of the net.
Three minutes later the Stags snatched the lead when Duffy pounced on a long Jon Challinor throw, which the Rovers defence failed to deal with, and he blasted the ball home from close-range.
The visitors then put the result beyond doubt in the 76th minute when when Williams played Speight through on goal and the hitman slotted the ball past the the Rovers stopper to make it 3-1.
Jones netted his second and his side's fourth as he headed in a Williams cross to compound the home side's miseries.
