Mansfield Town

Forest Green v Mansfield

David Hockaday's Forest Green Rovers will be targeting a second straight league victory when play-off chasing Mansfield Town visit the New Lawn.

New signing Reece Styche is poised to make his home debut after bagging two goals on his debut against Hayes and Yeading United.

Fellow striker Isaiah Rankin is rated doubtful with hamstring problem, while midfielder Curtis McDonald could also miss out with a leg injury.

However, midfielder Mike Fowler (ankle), defender Lee Ayres (hip) and goalkeeper Gavin Carlin (knee) all remain on the treatment table.

Looking ahead to the clash, Styche told this is gloucestershire: "There's masses of quality in the squad, right from the goalkeepers through to the strikers Ameobi and Rankin.

"Mansfield are in a play-off place and I'm really looking forward to it if I play.

"I've never been to the stadium but I know it's a great set-up. It should be a brilliant experience for me."

Mansfield boss David Holdsworth has the luxury of an almost fully-fit squad to choose from for the trip to Forest Green.

New signing Jon Shaw has returned to training this week but is not expected to play, while fellow forward Blair Sturrock will also miss out with a neck injury.

Kyle Nix is close to a return but Saturday's game will come too soon for him.
