Luton v Mansfield

Luton Town will be looking to build on their stalemate over the weekend when they play host to Mansfield Town at Kenilworth Road on Tuesday night.

However, Hatters boss Mick Harford has a number of injury concerns to deal with, which may hamper his chances of claiming a victory.

Lewis Emanuel will miss the clash after breaking his toe over the weekend, with the injury likely to keep him out of action for around three months.

Liam Hatch, Ryan Charles and Ed Asafu-Adjaye are also sidelined for the clash as Harford is forced into shuffling his pack.

On a brighter note for the boss, Asa Hall could be back in contention following an Achilles concern.

Harford told the club's official website ahead of the clash: "Mansfield are a very big and strong outfit.

"They're very well organised, well drilled and tenacious.

"They have big strikers up-front who between them scored three of their four goals on Saturday.

"From what I've heard they're a team that could be up there at the end of the season but we're confident.

"If we can win on Tuesday and win our home match against Gateshead on Saturday we'll have seven points from our first three games and, knowing that we should have won Saturday at Wimbledon, we'll be near the top of the table."

Another concern for the Hatters boss, as if he needs any more, is that Shane Blackett may have to sit out the clash due to suspension following his dismissal over the weekend.

The Hatters are hoping to have his red card overturned but face an anxious wait as to whether it will go through before kick off on Tuesday night.

Mansfield Town will be hoping that this season brings a change in fortunes with regards to their form away from Field Mill.

The Stags did not have the best record last season in away matches and manager David Holdsworth is eager for that to change this campaign.

Holdsworth told The Mansfield Chad: "We enjoyed our win on Saturday but we are not going to get carried away.

"We know that last season's points total away from home was not good enough.

"The ball did not stick enough when we were away, but I believe that with the players we now have we will be ok.

"We have to respect Luton. They have a lot of quality, it is their first home game of the season and it will be a big night for their fans.

"We need to quieten their fans down in the first 20 minutes. Luton are a benchmark and I have great respect for them.

"We are going there to win the game and we believe we can win the game."

Holdsworth will be boosted ahead of the trip with news that skipper Gary Mills is back and available for selection.

Mills brings a calming influence to the side and the Stags will need that against opposition in the shape of Luton Town.
