Eastbourne v Luton

Eastbourne Borough boss Garry Wilson is confident his charges can bounce back from their midweek disappointment when they host Luton Town at Langney Sports Club on Saturday.

The Sports went down 2-0 to Rushden & Diamonds on Tuesday evening and three points are a must as they look to move clear of the relegation zone.

Wilson told BBC Sussex: "We're very positive. We didn't get too carried away when we beat Wrexham and we're not too downhearted to lose to Rushden.

"Things level themselves out, we've got sixteen games left now."

"If the players can't get themselves up for that we don't deserve to be in this division.

"We've got a massive game at home on Saturday and I feel that we'll be ready.

"We know it'll be a difficult game but it's one we're really looking forward to, that's why we want to be in this league. "

Wilson will be without Neil Jenkins, who is suspended and Andy Atkin (knee), he will also be sweating on the fitness of Danny Brown, who faces a late fitness test.

Luton go into the tie on a high after their 2-1 win over Oxford United, which moved them into the final play-off spot and George Pilkington, who found the back of the net on Tuesday, feels that their best is yet to come.

He told Bedfordshire News: "I think we still haven't hit top gear," insisted Pilkington. "We've defintely been a lot more dogged.

"We've gotten used to the league, and it's not about winning it in the first 10 minutes and going gung-ho.

"We've got to set our stall out a bit better and go a bit more defensive. It's stood us in good stead in the last two games and that's what we'll do on Saturday.

"There's been a lot of change between the start of the season and now. I think we are coming to terms with the way we go about our business now and there will be a lot of preparation for the next game.

"We can't get carried away," he said. "We've beaten a good team (Oxford) and on the night we deserved it, but it counts for nothing if we don't back it up with another win on Saturday. We can't look further than the next game ahead. If you do you could lose focus on your goals.

"We've got a tough game against Eastbourne and the manager's broken it down into blocks of five games and we've got our targets and we'll try and hit them."

The Hatters will be minus Keith Keane (suspended) and Kevin Gallen (knee) and Lewis Emanuel (toe).
