The Lamb Ground

Tamworth v Fleetwood

Fleetwood are expected to add to their Blue Square Bet Premier lead when they travel to the Lamb Ground to face Tamworth on Saturday.

The Fishermen are currently five points clear at the top of the standings and have not lost in the league since October 11, marking a run of 19 games without defeat.

Tamworth, meanwhile, have endured a roller coaster ride this season and followed up their 2-1 victory over Newport County with a 2-1 defeat to Mansfield last weekend, leaving them in 14th position.

On the team news front, Richard Tait will be looking to repay the faith shown in him by the Lambs after he agreed a new deal which will keep him at the club until the end of next season, with the option of a further 12 months.

Scott Barrow also recently put pen to a new contract which will see him remain at the club until the end of next season.

New signing Jean-Paul Marna is in line to make his debut as he has completed a two-match suspension.

For the visitors, Junior Brown, who has not featured for the Cod Army since New Year's Day, will be hoping to make his return to action after playing the full 90 minutes for England C in the 1-1 against Italy on Tuesday.
