Forest Green v Fleetwood Town

Fleetwood Town captain Steve McNulty is confident his team can avoid slipping up at Forest Green Rovers in the Blue Square Bet Premier on Saturday.

The Cod Army, who are a point ahead of Wrexham at the summit, enter the clash with confidence after a 3-1 victory over Braintree Town earlier in the week.

Their mid-table opponents are equally upbeat following a shock 1-0 success at Wrexham's expense in a matching fixture.

McNulty expects a test at The New Lawn but has faith in his teammates to come out on top.

"There's no easy game in this league but the gaffer obviously does his homework on them," McNulty told Fleetwood's official website. "We travel on Friday, so we'll prepare properly on Thursday. We're confident of winning every game. We're always going to score goals, and if we keep clean sheets we've always got a chance."

Town boss Micky Mellon has only one fresh concern ahead of the tie, with Shaun Beeley battling with a groin problem.

In Rovers team news, Kieron Forbes is struggling with a hamstring complaint, while James Norwood may feature after returning to training on Thursday.

Matt Paterson will serve the final match of a three-game ban. He misses out along with injured players Chris Todd, Reece Styche, James Rowe, Curtis McDonald and Al Bangura.
