Alfreton Town boss Nicky Law believes his side's strong finish to the season will give them the edge when they travel to Workington in the first leg of their play-off semi-final tie on Wednesday.
The Reds boss warned that his charges would hold nothing back going into the encounter.
He told BBC Radio Derby: "We went on a great run, found ourselves there and probably it was unknown for a lot of people but last year could help us.
"It motivates us and arms with a little bit more experience. Maybe it all came a little bit quick for us last year.
"We played up there on a poor night when it was hammering down and windy; the game just about got on and they gave us a real good run in Alfreton.
"They are young, enthusiastic with a lot of energy and have good players and they have not gone on the run they have by being a poor side.
"We are aware of that but it's about what we do. We are confident that if we get it right on the day, we can get the result."
"We're going to go and try to win," he continued. "We don't want to go there and try to come away unscathed - I think that would be an error. We have to go with a positive approach, as we have done all season.
"Wherever we have gone, we have scored goals, and that is what we shall be looking to do again."
Workington boss Darren Edmondson is hoping that key duo defender Lee Andrews and top scorer Gareth Arnison will play a part in the tie as both are set to undergo a late fitness test.
He told the Times & Star: "I think both the lads will start. They will need some treatment before the game to work on their problem areas but they will start.
"Gareth's thigh has been sore after he played his first 90 minutes in two weeks.
"Lee's been coming on well but we didn't want to risk him just yet with the heavier training."
