Droylsden will be looking to make home ground advantage count when they host Fleetwood Town in the first-leg of their two-legged play-off semi-final at Butcher's Arms on Wednesday.
Bloods boss Dave Pace is confident that his charges can overcome the Fisherman to reach the play-off final despite the fact that they finished 21 points behind them in the Blue Square North table.
He told the Manchester Evening News: "Altrincham won the play-offs five years ago after finishing something like 22 points behind us, so, hopefully, the boot will be on the other foot this time.
"We've proved that, on our day, we're capable of beating anyone in this league. Having been in the top-five virtually all season, we feel we've earned this chance."
Pace's opposite number Micky Mellon says his side are brimming with confidence going into the tie after winning their last three games of the season and missing automatic promotion by just one point.
He told the Blackpool Gazette: "We go into the play-offs in good form. We could have made it easier, but it was just one of those days. We keep going, we are a spirited group and we ran out very comfortable winners.
"It is very exciting. Fleetwood is a fitting place to play any play-off cup final, but we have to take care of a difficult game against Droylsden first.
"It will also be difficult for them but we will go into it full of confidence on the back of three very solid wins. The fans got behind us, and they will on Wednesday and Sunday as well.
"We know our destiny and what we have to do, and we will get stuck in."
