Tuesday's Blue Square North Preview

Top of the table Eastwood Town will look to continue their fine run of form, which has seen them notch up eight goals in their last two fixtures, when they take on Stalybridge in the Blue Square North on Tuesday.

Droylsden will go into their home tie against Harrogate Town on Monday evening beaming with confidence after their 7-1 mauling of Stafford Rangers at the weekend.

The Bloods currently trail the Badgers by two points at the top of the table and they will look to claim all three points and hope for a slip-up by Town.

With third placed Corby not in action on Tuesday evening, Southport have the opportunity to leap-frog them into third place in the table if they can overcome the lowly Stafford Rangers at Haig Avenue.

Rangers were taught a footballing lesson at the weekend when they were mauled by Droylsden and Chris Brindley's charges will need a dramatic improvement if they are to come away from the game with anything.

Fifth placed Telford will be confident of picking up three points when they host a Northwich side that has only managed to pick up a single point from their first eight fixtures of the season.

On Wednesday evening Graham Drury's Corby Town will set out to improve on their 1-0 win over Northwich on Saturday, a game in which they failed to convert numerous opportunities.
