There are three unbeaten teams in the Blue Square North and they're all in action this weekend.
Newly promoted Corby Town have hit the ground running, racking up three wins and a draw to announce their arrival in the league.
They travel to Blyth Spartans who have had a somewhat indifferent start to their 2009/2010 campaign. The Spartans will look to make amends and put the newcomers in their place.
Corby defender Dean West is facing a long period on the sidelines after suffering a calf injury and was replaced by Phil Watt against Ilkeston in midweek and he is likely to get the nod again.
Manager Graham Drury told the Evening Telegraph: "John Turner came off against Stalybridge last week and he went to his doctors who subsequently told him he had a viral infection so we don't know if he will be involved tomorrow or not."
"But Joe Francis will be available again soon. In fact I'm hoping it will be two weeks tops."
Blyth defender Darren Craddock has returned from holiday, and will be available for the first time this season.
Manager Mike Tait will need to make a decision as to whether someone makes way for the former York City player, and if so who.
Eastwood Town, who were promoted at the start of the season, are level at the top with ten points from four games as the prepare to travel to Fleetwood Town.
Badgers boss Micky Mellon told the Gazette: "We played plenty of good football at Vauxhall and overall I was pleased with the performance. There's certainly no need to do anything rash for Saturday."
One possible change the manager hinted at was a return to the starting line-up for striker Adam Warlow, scorer of Town's late consolation on Tuesday.
Mellon added: "We've watched them (Eastwood) and we know they are a strong side. It promises to be a very good game.
"If we continue to play as we have and with another big Highbury crowd behind us, there's no reason why we shouldn't get Tuesday's result out of our system."
Hyde are also on ten points and have arguably the toughest tie of the leading trio when they travel to promoted Ilkeston Town, who have found the going in the Blue Square North rather easy, notching up two wins and a draw thus far.
They will look to make it three wins out of three at home.
Northwich Victoria suffered a deflating 5-1 defeat to Droylsden and manager Andy Preece is also having to deal with a mounting casualty list ahead of their clash with Redditch at Victoria Stadium.
Danny Meadowcroft suffered a leg fracture in the Vics' last outing and he joins Jon Newby (hamstring), Junior Brown (ankle), Jon Newby (hamstring) and Ryan Brown (knee) on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, Nat Kerr's participation is doubtful due to a shoulder problem and Mat Bailey also faces a race against time after missing the loss at Butcher's Arms with a dead leg.
Ian Herring also sits out as he serves a suspension but the good news for Preece is that Mike Aspin has his paperwork in order and is available for the Cheshire-based outfit.
Redditch remain winless in the league and have drafted in James Dance to bolster their ranks.
Stafford Rangers host Farsley Celtic at Marston Road with the home team eager to extend their winning run to three matches.
Darren Alexander made his debut last week and is expected to continue in midfield for Boro while Danny Allen comes in between the sticks as Tom Harrison and Lee Evans are out through injury.
Celtic though will welcome back Mark Jackson who has recovered from a back injury.
