Monday's Blue Square Bet North wrap

Guiseley moved up to third after a 1-1 draw at Nuneaton Town, while Hyde extended their lead at the top of the standings with a 4-0 thrashing of Workington.

Andy Holdsworth opened the scoring for the Lions in the fifth minute of their tie at Liberty Way, but Adam Walker responded in the 61st minute to salvage a point for the hosts.

The result sees second-placed Nuneaton and third-placed Guiseley lose ground on leaders Hyde FC, who are now 10 points clear.

The Tigers took the lead against the Reds in the 40th minute when Callum Byrne found the back of the net.

Scott Spencer (65) doubled the advantage before Reece Gray made it 3-0 to the hosts nine minutes later. Spencer completed his brace in the 76th minute to emphasise Hyde's dominance.

Monday's Blue Square Bet North results:

Hyde 4-0 Workington

Nuneaton 1-1 Guiseley
