Tuesday's Blue Square Bet North Wrap

Wins for AFC Telford United, Alfreton Town, Corby and Stalybridge saw them join Workington and Boston United on six points at the top of the Blue Square Bet North standings.

There was nothing to separate Nuneaton and Ilkeston Town as they played out to a 2-2 stalemate at Liberty Way on Tuesday evening.

Kyle Storer's brace for the home side was cancelled out by strikes from Amari Morgan-Smith and David Graham as honours ended even.

Alfreton Town made it two from two as they put Redditch to the sword with a 5-1 triumph at the Valley Stadium.

A brace from Paul Clayton and goals from Anthony Wilson, Nathan Arnold and Jake Moult gave the visitors a resounding victory.

AFC Telford moved to the top of the standings with a 1-0 win over Vauxhall Motors courtesy of a Andy Brown strike.

Worcester bounced back from their opening day defeat with a 4-2 away victory against Eastwood Town.

The visitors had the game wrapped up at the break thanks to first-half goals from Mark Clyde (brace), Danny Glover and Mark Danks.

The Badgers clawed back two goals through Sam Duncum and Matt Rhead, but it proved to be too little too late.

Harrogate Town and Droylsden played out to a 3-3 draw in a six goal thriller played at Wetherby Road.

Rob Lloyd opened the scoring for the visitors, but a first-half brace from Liam Hardy saw the home side take a 2-1 lead into the break.

Graeme Armstrong's strike in the 54th minute seemed to have given the Sulphurites the three points, but goals from Ciaran Kilheeney and David McNiven for the visitors, earned them a share of the spoils.
