The Impact Arena
Alfreton Town booked their place in the Blue Square North play-off final after seeing off the challenge of Workington at the Impact Arena on Sunday.
Workington were looking to overturn a first-leg deficit in this match and made the perfect start when Gareth Arnison headed them in front on 13 minutes.
However, Alfreton were back on even terms in the 37th minute when Ian Ross found the back of the net with a superb free kick.
The hosts pressed their advantage after the half-time break and further extended their lead in the 48th minute through Paul Clayton.
And Clayton popped up again in the 87th minute to rub salt in Workington's wounds and help his side claim their place in the Blue Square North play-off final.
