Saturday's Blue Square North Wrap

League-leaders Fleetwood Town maintained their three-point cushion at the summit thanks to a 2-0 victory over Corby at Rockingham Triangle.

The Fishermen prevailed thanks to goals by Adam Warlow (23') and Anthony Barry (83') on either side of the break.

Second-placed Southport just about kept the pressure on as Chris Simm completed a late brace to help edge Blyth Spartans 3-2 at Haig Avenue. The visitors opened the scoring through Ian Graham in the 16th minute before Earl Davis equalised just past the half-hour mark. Simm then scored his first leaving the Sandgrounders narrowly in front at the break. Paul Brayson equalised shortly after the restart but Simm surfaced late to snare the result.

Hinckley United dropped some valuable points as they drew 1-1 with Northwich at Marston's Stadium. Wayne Riley struck first for the visitors before Andy Hall equalised after 56 minutes.

AFC Telford enjoyed a brutally good day at the office as they trounced Droylsden 5-1 at Butcher's Arms. Phil Trainer (15, 90) and Andy Brown (pen 23, 90) both struck twice to complement Jon Adams' 87th-minute effort, while Tony Gray (33) got on the scoresheet for the hapless hosts.

Bottom-placed Vauxhall Motors earned a shock point as they held fourth-placed Eastwood Town to a goalless draw at Coronation Park.

Relegation-threatened Gainsborough pulled a similar trick as they drew 0-0 with tenth-placed Ilkeston at the Northolme.

There was, however, no relief for struggling Harrogate as they went 3-1 down to high-flying Alfreton at the Impact Arena. The fifth-placed hosts eased into a 3-0 lead thanks to goals by Anton Brown (8), Paul Clayton (35) and Jack Moult (53) before Adam Nowakowski (62) pulled one back for the second-from-bottom Sulphurites.
