Fleetwood boss Micky Mellon
Second-placed Fleetwood Town closed the gap on league leaders Southport on Bank Holiday Monday after nine matches were called off in the Blue Square North.
Micky Mellon's Fleetwood Town closed the gap on Southport to six points with a 4-2 victory over Vauxhall Motors at Highbury Stadium.
The hosts broke the deadlock after 31 minutes through Nick Rogan but Vauxhall forward Lee Furlong levelled the scores when he found the back of the net in the 58th minute.
However, the Fishermen stormed into a commanding lead after a hat-trick from striker Adam Warlow (62, 64, 79), rendering Josh Wilson's 84th minute penalty nothing more than a consolation.
Hinckley United further strengthend their play-off credentials with a comfortable win against play-off hopefuls AFC Telford at Marston's Stadium.
Striker Matt West opened Hinckley's account in the 58th minute and defender Lee Collins made sure of the result with an 88th minute effort.
