Southport consolidated their standing at the top of the Blue Square North table on a day when the weather played havoc with the fixture list.
The table-topping side racked up an impressive 5-0 win over second-placed Fleetwood Town on a day when only five of the scheduled nine games went ahead.
Michael Powell and Earl Davis scored a brace each as Town were completely outplayed at Haig Avenue. Ciaran Kilheeney added the fifth goal as the Sandgrounders sent a clear message to the rest of the league.
Hinckley United continued their surge to the play-off places following an exciting 4-2 away win over Solihull Moors, who find themselves on the verge of being dragged into the relegation dogfight.
Elsewhere ninth placed AFC Telford narrowly beat 16th placed Stafford Rangers 2-1, with the home side's goals coming from Liam Blakeman and Andre Gray after Ishmail Reid had put the visitors ahead after just four minutes.
Redditch racked up a convincing 4-1 win over Gloucester, who moved down to 15th spot on the table following this result.
AFC Telford 2 - 1 Stafford Rangers
Corby 2 - 2 Gainsborough
Redditch 4 - 1 Gloucester
Solihull Moors 2 - 4 Hinckley Utd
Southport 5 - 0 Fleetwood Town
