Saturday's Blue Square North Wrap

Eastwood's away victory over Blyth Spartans closed the gap on Southport to four points after the Blue Square North leaders drew with Ilkeston Town.

Craig McAughtrie fired Eastwood into the lead after 62 minutes and Martin Foster added a second on in the 79th minute. Ian Holmes made it 3-0 three minutes from time before Paul Brayson grabbed Blyth Spartans' consolation with a minute to go.

Southport went behind at home to Ilkeston Town as Dan Holmes broke the deadlock just before half-time. But the Sandgrounders saved face thanks to Robbie Booth's 66th-minute goal.

Fleetwood went goal crazy in their home game against hapless Redditch, romping home 8-0 winners. Alan Wright's first-minute goal set the tone as Jamie McGuire added a brace before half-time. Jamie Milligan got on the scoresheet in the second half before Adam Warlow and Nick Rogan got in on the act by adding braces of their own.

Hinckley kept their play-off push on track after securing a 2-1 home win over fouth-placed Alfreton. Richard Lavery gave the Knitters the lead but Anthony Howell equalised in the 79th minute. However, Adam Webster's goal three minutes later sealed the three points.

Workington consolidated their mid-table position after beating high-flying Corby 2-0 away from home. Two second-half goals from Gareth Arnison and Jonny Wright were enough for the Reds to go home happy.

Stafford Rangers also picked up three valuable points from their home clash with Gloucester. Jake Moult's goal inside eight minutes proved decisive after the final whistle.

Farsley Celtic remain three points behind Stafford in 14th place after a solitary goal gave them an important win over Solihull Moors, who have the same number of points but an inferior goal difference to the Villagers.

Gainsborough are locked on the same number of points as Solihull but are below them on goal difference after a 1-1 home draw with Harrogate. Mark Hudson gave the Trinity the lead just after the restart but Kieran Leabon's 73rd-minute goal earned the Sulphurites a share of the spoils.
