Kettering Town maintained their three-point lead at the top of the Blue Square North with a 6-0 hammering of relegation-threatened Vauxhall Motors, although the chasing pack also all recorded vital wins.
It was all over by half time at Rivacre Road as Kettering went in to the break with a 3-0 cushion.
Christopher Beardsley and Jon Brady opened the scoring as they netted after 22 and 28 minutes, before Craig Westcarr added a third before the break.
But there was to be no let up with Brett Solkhon and Jean-Paul Marna also getting in on the act after 53 and 62 minutes while Westcarr claimed his second with 10 minutes remaining.
Second-placed Telford saw off struggling Hinckley in front of 2161 enthusiastic fans at the New Bucks Head Stadium this Saturday afternoon.
Matty Lewis opened the scoring after just 14 minutes with Gary Birch on target after 55 minutes and Jon Adams adding the killer blow with 81 minutes of the game played.
Harrogate got back to winning ways this week with a hard-fought win over Boston.
Chances were limited at The Staffsmart Stadium due to some resolute defending from both sides and a handful of missed chances each.
As it turned out, Danny Holland's 45th minute goal was enough to settle the tie and keep them just six points off the pacesetters.
Southport dropped two vital points at home to a resolute Redditch side on Saturday afternoon.
Tony Gray opened the scoring after only 18 minutes but the Sandgrounders failed to capitalise on their possession, eventually conceding a penalty to Redditch on 68 minutes, which Liam Daly duly slotted home.
Stalybridge would have been mightily relieved to have come away from Croft Park with a point, let alone all three as they left it very, very late in their Blue Square North match.
Steve Payne was the hero as he netted in injury time. The result leaves them one point adrift of Southport in fourth place but with a game in hand.
Despite conceding two goals against lowly Hucknall at the Tameside Stadium on Saturday, sixth-paced Hyde always looked in control of this tie en route to a 4-2 victory.
David Morley's 6th minute opener set the tone with Matthew Tipton on target after 16 minutes.
Ian Robinson pulled one back for the visitors just after the break, but Chris Simm's 57th minute strike all but ended hopes of a come-back.
Peter Knox presented the possibility to his side with his 65th minute effort. But Simm's second barely a minute later, on 66 minutes put the tie beyond the travelling Hucknall.
It took a Tony Butler own goal after 56 minutes to settle this middle of the table clash and hand all three points to the home side.
Nuneaton are well placed for a play-off spot in seventh and a tally of 54 points from 31 games with Alfreton way off the pace having accumulated just 37 points from their 30 games played thus far.
Solihull grabbed three vital points at home to Tamworth as they attempt to put as many teams between themselves and the relegation places.
Dale Anderson's 63rd minute effort settled the tie pushing the home side within just two points of their opposition although significantly they have played three games more.
There was little to separate these two sides this Blue Square Saturday with their relative league position suggesting a close encounter was on the cards.
Burscough occupy eighth spot with Worcester in ninth, but despite Matthew Parry opening the scoring in the eighth minute for the away side, Gary Walker equalised on 31 minutes with Craig Wilding grabbing the winner on 77 minutes to see Worcester close the gap to just three points.
Mark Smyth's 90th minute effort was no more than a consolation for the Blue Square North's bottom team as Matt Henney and Jason Walker's 37th and 62nd minute goals respectively settled the tie.
Gainsborough earned an encouraging away win over Workington in their search for points, which cements them firmly in the top half of the table.
David Reeves broke the deadlock on 33 minutes that swung the tie with Chris Hall adding a second from the penalty spot after 67 minutes.
Alex Callery's own goal with ten minutes to go, ensured a tense finish that the away side were relieved to see through.
