Marsden parts ways with Boro

Justin Marsden has been released by Boro manager Kevin Wilkin following discussions with the Nuneaton supremo.

Marsden, who joined the club in the season 08/09, has struggled to hold down a regular first-team starting place this season and wants to find a club where he would feature more prominently.

Ian Neale, Boro Chairman said, "Justin is a great lad, a really big character in the squad who's presence is known when he is around.

"I know supporters will join me in thanking him for his service and contribution to the club over the past three years and wish him the very best of luck for the future."

Marsden won the FA Cup player of the road last season for his performance in the 6-0 demolition of Coleshill Town, for that Justin received star treatment and a pitch side presentation before the final at Wembley.
