Skiba set for Celtic exit

Farsley Celtic will lose their goalkeeper this week as Piotr Skiba has decided to return to his former club.

The Polish stopper has been in the United Kingdom since 2006 and has played for a number of teams including Bradford Park Avenue, Ossett Town and Guiseley but has opted to sign a full-time contract with third division outfit OKS 1945 Olsztyn.

Josh Bell should step into the void created by the departure of Skiba. The young keeper made four appearances for the Celts in September when Skiba attended a wedding in Poland.

Skiba told the club's official website: "I'm going back and will back by the weekend because I have spoken with my former club in Poland.

"I know the goalkeeping coach over there and he asked to me come over.

"It is a good chance for me to return to full-time football as that is the reason why I came to England."
