Williams snubs AFC Telford

Blue Square North club AFC Telford missed out on the opportunity to sign Rhyl striker Matty Williams.

The former Manchester United reserve hitman, who was a regular in the side for five years, opted to stay with the Principality Welsh Premier side despite concerted efforts to land him.

The Wales under-21 international has also played for Notts County, Tamworth and Burton Albion and has scored nineteen goals in thirty-three appearances at Belle Vue.
