Redditch United manager Gary Whild has snapped up striker Chris Hanna to bolster his attacking options in the Blue Square North.
The former Walsall prospect, failed to agree a deal with Kettering Town after spending pre-season with them, and as a result Whild was able to bring him to the Reds.
Whild told the club's official website: "I tried to get him on loan at Redditch while he was with Walsall.
"It looked as though he was joining Kettering, but for some reason, a deal never materialised.
"Chris was aware that I was interested in him and got in touch with one of my players Graham Deakin, as the pair were together at Walsall."
Hanna, who spent part of last season out on loan with Hednesford Town, impressed when he came on for the injured Owen Story for his debut at Kings Lynn in a 1-1 draw this week.
