Stewart Talbot
Boston United's experienced midfielder Stewart Talbot has revealed that next season will be his last before he hangs up his boots for good.
The veteran has battled with injuries since his arrival from Brentford in June, 2005 and is looking to make one final push in a bid to help the Pilgrims to promotion next term.
Having signed a two-year contract last summer Talbot has another year left on his deal and admits that his injury problems have forced him to rethink his future.
"Next year will most likely be my last season playing" he told the Sports Echo.
"Hopefully the team will be pushing to get promoted, either automatically or through the play-offs.
"If we get a good nucleus of players and with the plenty of support that there is around the town, I think we'll have a good chance of going up."
