Tommy Taylor
Blue Square North club Boston United's manager Tommy Taylor will not change the way his team play their football next season.
The Pilgrims boss has seen his side stutter this season and a place in mid-table looks like a realistic position.
Kettering Town have already qualified for promotion to the Blue Square Premier, and although Taylor has respect for what the Poppies have achieved this season, he believes their physical approach is not the only way to achieve what they have.
Taylor told Sports Echo: "They try to grind you down and get you on the back foot and throw balls in behind you for the first 25 minutes of games.
"I am not going to criticise Kettering manager Mark Cooper because he has done a good job, but I do like to play a bit more football."
Taylor also admitted that there are certain problems which he needs to work on with his squad, particularly their wing play.
He added: "But we have got to sort the wide areas out and get more crosses into the box.
"The more crosses you put in, the more defenders are drawn out of position and the higher percentage you have of scoring."
