Tommy Taylor
Boston United boss Tommy Taylor is already making plans for the next Blue Square North campaign, even though his first season hasn't finished yet.
After initial hopes of a promotion push faded throughout the course of the season, the overall picture of 2007/08 can be one of a good season with United at least surviving.
12 months ago the picture looked a lot bleaker, even though United were then in the Football League.
Although the clubs financial problems are far from over the future is brighter and the club is in good hands.
On the pitch Taylor has struggled to find consistency from his players with the occasional fantastic display forgotten by the more often dour and dull performances.
With a lot of players playing at this level for the first time, Taylor is happy for this season to be a learning curve, as long as progress is made next year.
"Some players didn't think Blue Square North would be as strong as it is" he told the Sports Echo.
"In that sense, this season has been a great experience. The lads have learnt a lot from it and we all know where we need to be for next season.
"I've already spoken to a few players in the squad and received a few positive answers.
"We need to be putting our front foot forward this time round - last season we were putting our front foot backwards.
"There are other players I am talking to and some more who have yet to come up to the plate and say they want to be here next season."
