What's The Ground Like?

A largely open ground which is surrounded by a lot of greenery giving an overall pleasant look. On one side is the newish looking main stand. This covered seated stand comprises six rows of seating and runs for around half the length of the pitch. The view is good from this area as there are no supporting pillars or floodlight pylons to hinder your view. On one side of this stand is an even smaller seated stand, whilst the other side has nothing apart from some car parking spaces. Opposite is a small covered terrace that has a row of three floodlight pylons situated in front of it. To one side is the Club Shop. Both ends are unused as such i.e. there is no terrace or seating, just small tarmac areas for spectators to stand on by the perimeter fence. One end has a small car park, whilst at the other is situated the Club House Bar. There is a noticeable slope to the pitch that runs down towards the Club House End.

Where to Drink?

There is a Club House at the ground called 'The Cross Bar' which allows in visiting fans. Othwerwise the nearest pub is the Woodlands, which is a short distance back down the A661 Wetherby Road, heading away from town.

How to Get There by Car & Where to Park

Leave the A1(M) at Junction 47 and take the A59 towards Knaresborough. Then take the A658 towards Bradford/Harrogate. At the second roundabout turn right onto the A661 towards Harrogate. You will pass a Sainsburys and then after the lights with the Woodlands pub on one corner, then the entrance to the ground is a just a bit further down on the right.

Parking at the ground is limited. There is a small car park at the Hospital End of the ground accessed from Lancaster Park Road, but this fills up very quickly. Pay parking is available in the hospital car park on Willaston Crescent.

Nearest Train Station

Although there are two local stations near to the ground; Hornbeam Park Station (for Leeds) and Starbeck (for York). However, Harrogate station itself is only just over a mile from the ground.
