The ground has seen some recent improvements with developments at both ends of the stadium. At one end a new all seated covered stand has been erected, whilst opposite a new cover has been built over the existing terrace. On one side is the small Main Stand. Although this stand looks really old it was in fact opened in 1975. It is a small all seated stand that sits on the half way line. It is covered with two floodlight pylons being used to support the roof on each side. Opposite is a small covered terrace that has a fair number of supporting pillars. There are also a line of four floodlight pylons situated at the front of this terrace.
There is a fair sized social club at the ground. Otherwise there is 'The Albion' pub on Marston Road. In terms of places to eat, there didn't seem to be much around the ground, so you will have to rely on the catering available inside.
Leave the M6 at Junction 14 and head towards Stafford. At the roundabout that is the junction with the A34 go straight across towards Uttoxeter. Take the third right into Common Road. The ground is one mile ahead, down on the right opposite the car dealership.
Stafford station is located just over a mile away from Marston Road. It is served by trains from Birmingham New Street, London Euston & Liverpool Lime Street.
