What's The Ground Like?

The ground is a small simple one that looks to have benefited from some recent investment in its facilities. One side is the relatively new William Pace Stand. This small covered seated stand, sits astride the half way line. The seated area is raised above pitch level meaning that supporters need to climb a small staircase to access it. The team dugouts are located on this side of the pitch, to either side of the stand. There are some buildings located to one side of the stand, which include the Phoenix Social Club, whilst the other side is unused. Opposite is an old looking covered terrace. It runs for around half the length of the pitch and is only a few steps high. It also has a number of supporting pillars running across the front of it. There are a number of residential houses on that side of the ground that enjoy a free view of the game. At one end is a new looking covered terrace, known as the car park end, whilst opposite the other end has just a path running behind the goal. The ground has four modern looking floodlights.

Where to Drink?

There is the Phoenix Social Club at the ground itself, or there is the nearby Butchers Arms pub.

Where to Eat?

The ground is only a couple of minutes walk away from Droylsden Town Centre, where there are plenty of eating outlets to be found.

How to Get There by Car & Where to Park

Leave the M60 at Junction 23 and take the A635 towards Manchester. After reaching a retail park on your left (where there is a McDonalds outlet) turn right at the next traffic lights onto the A662 towards Droylsden. On reaching the centre of Droylsden, turn right at the traffic lights onto Market Street. The ground is down on the left, just before the Butchers Arms pub. There is a small car park at the ground, otherwise street parking.
