AFC Telford v Wrexham

AFC Telford United can expect a stern test of their league credentials when league leaders Wrexham make the trip to New Bucks Head on Boxing Day.

Andy Sinton's Bucks languish in 18th place with 24 points following last weekend's 2-1 defeat to Braintree Town at Cressing Road, while the Red Dragons are top on goal difference after a 2-1 win against Gateshead.

Sinton has received a welcome boost with the confirmation that striker Steve Jones has recovered from his hamstring injury this week.

The 35 year-old has missed their last two games and is expected to go straight back into the starting line-up.

Winger Dwayne Samuels is also pushing for a starting berth against the table toppers.

Wrexham boss has the luxury of an almost fully-fit squad to choose from for Monday's encounter.

The only concern is midfielder Lee Fowler, who is currently nursing a hamstring problem sustained in the win over Gateshead

Morrell told Leader Live: "Lee has been in to see the physio.

"It is nothing too bad. Lee just felt it was a bit tight so we took him off as a pre-caution.

"Hopefully he will be okay for Telford."
