Here's to all you conference football fans. I hope that you can enjoy the fact that a BSQ Premier team has broken record after record and are very worthy champions of the B SQ.Conference. It is good for the game, it is good for teams to be challenged to hit the same stride. After sixteen years Aldershot are to be crowned Champions and step up and into Division two. It is better than any Roy of the Rovers story. It is a shining example to any aspiring footballer of the future. It sets a high standard for all the teams that follow. When I consider the amount of dedication and sweat put into the Shot's incredible season; plus the mental strength needed to overcome some of the disappointments met along the way, I'm in awe. Good fortune to all the other teams striving to follow the Shots to the next plateau. Without you lot there would be no Premier division. I have followed this incredible season from Ontario Canada.. Shots you rock!

Hey cityfan, have you checked out major league soccer in North America? I will be checking it out again this summer. It isn't the highest standard which can be frustrating, when you are used to the good old english game. But the players are getting better. or they're getting better players. I live near Toronto so I support Toronto F.C. By the way, I worked at the Theatre Royal in York back in '79. I played a third of the Roman army in Julius Caesar..lol.

I agree Warren12. The momentum that the Shots have could take them a long long way. I saw Aldershot beat Aston Villa in the F.A. Cup back in the sixties and get promoted to the old div. 3. But this season beats all that. Way to go Shots.

Hey Shots fans. I live in Canada now and I've been a shots supporter since the early sixties. What a blast it has been following the shots on the web. Big question. How long is Gary Waddock going to remain at Aldershot? Other bigger money clubs must be checking him out. But my impression of Waddock is that he has integrity. He is going to take Aldershot to the heights. With the squad he has now,(young gifted and dedicated,) he has the nucleus of ,"A total team." what a squad. Up the Shots....!!
